Follow our detailed guide to measure your greyhound for their custom harness fit:
A Back Length
Begin by measuring from the point where the collar would sit at the base of the neck, down to where the tail starts. This ensures the harness rests comfortably along their spine without any bunching.
B Neck
Use a cloth tape measure to circle around the neck, where a collar would naturally lie. It should be snug, yet comfortable, allowing for freedom of movement without the risk of slipping over their head.
C Chest
Find the broadest part of your greyhound's chest, just behind the front legs. Wrap the measuring tape around this area to get the full circumference. This is crucial for harness stability and even distribution of pressure when walking or running.
D Waist
Locate the narrowest part of your greyhound's waist, usually found towards the end of the ribcage. Measuring the waist ensures the harness will not slide or shift during use, providing a secure fit that stays in place.
